Ceramic crane-box contains inserts of ceramics. The element of the crane, which is responsible for the supply of water and its overlap is made of cermet – aluminum oxide. The mechanism consists of two
ceramic plates with holes, due to the hardness of the material, they are not scratched, and from their convergence and divergence, at which the hole is formed, the flow of water that can be adjusted.
The principle of operation is the process of displacement of ceramic plates. There are two plates in the box – one is fixed in the case itself, the other is located on the rod, to which the mixer handle is attached. When a tap is opened between the plates, a hole appears – and the water flows; when closed, the plates inside the body converge – the water stops flowing.
