If the differential pressure is exceeded, the valve directs a part of the flow to the bypass of the pumping and mixing unit. The use of a relief valve protects the pump from working “on the closed valve”, makes it possible to maintain the circulation of coolant even when the collector loops are completely closed. Valve differential pressure settings range from 20 to 60 kPa.
