The safety group serves to protect electric water heaters or other storage tanks (from 10 to 50 l) up to 4 kW in domestic hot water systems against overpressure. Safety group functions: Boiler protection against overpressure – safety valve. Drinking water protection against backflow of hot water from the boiler – integrated check valve. Shut-off function of the drinking water line for repairs and maintenance of the boiler – shut-off ball valve. Drain function when the safety valve is actuated or forced open, included nozzle with a 1″ NC connection to the drain line.
