Purpose and use:
The KOER expansion tank connection valve fitting kit is, of course, used to connect an expansion tank, but its functionality is not limited to that. The expansion vessel of a closed system definitely needs a valve that will open when there is excess pressure in the heating system to let the excess volume of water expanded by heating into the vessel. The KOER valve does the job perfectly. The KOER valve is mounted at the water inlet of the membrane expansion tank.
