The sharp, durable blade is made of high-quality stainless steel. The special toothed ratchet mechanism reduces the force required to cut plastic pipe many times. Thus the cut is even, accurate, without nicks and burrs, and deformation of walls is avoided due to the special configuration of supporting bracket and progressive movement of the blade, lifting of which is provided by a lever-opening mechanism.
